Become a Hospi

Hospis doesn’t list consultants.

Hospis lists people who have demonstrably solved hotel problems.

What a Hospi is

Hospis matches hotel problems with the knowledge of experts who have solved exactly these problems before. Hotels find their problem — and the person behind it. A Hospi is therefore not an entry in a directory but part of a community that grows by referral: new Hospis join exclusively through a current Hospi.

Because what we are building with the houses matters more than ever: trust. Every profile is a vetted promise — whoever is listed here has done it before. If you are on this page, someone has probably referred you.

The one criterion

Documented hotel problem-solving experience. Not your title, not your years in the industry, not your affinity for hospitality. Pure consulting without documented implementation in a real hotel is the most common reason for rejection — regardless of prominence or referral.

Your evidence

Three solved problems from your category. For each problem, three pieces of evidence:

  • Hotel namewhich house it was.
  • Engagement confirmationa file or clear proof of the engagement. You already have it — no reference hotel needs to be bothered.
  • Case with a numberstarting value, result, timeframe.

Plus your software list: what did you work with? It feeds into the matching.

How it works

  1. 01ReferralA current Hospi sends you the link to this page.
  2. 02ApplicationYou fill in the form: basics, discipline, three cases with evidence, your software list, and who referred you.
  3. 03ReviewWe check your evidence — where needed with a Hospi from your discipline — and map your cases to existing problems.
  4. 04ConversationA short conversation clarifies open evidence, your problem profile and the release of your cases.
  5. 05Profile liveYour profile goes live with its ‘solves’ list and your released cases.

You receive a binding answer within 14 days of submission.

What becomes public, what stays internal

Public: name, discipline, modes (Advise/Implement), your positioning, the confirmed ‘solves’ list and your cases — anonymised (property type, room count, region, season model) and only with your release: you have a veto per case.

Internal: hotel names, contact details, who referred you — and the engagement confirmation is never published. It is a vetting document, nothing else.

This separation is not fine print — it is the core of Hospis: houses trust us because evidence is verified and internals stay protected. The same holds for you — your documents are used for vetting, for nothing else.
