We process personal data exclusively on the basis of the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act. This policy informs you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on this website.

2. Hosting & server logs

This website is hosted by Netlify Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, technical data is processed automatically (IP address, date and time of access, browser type, pages accessed). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Data transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

3. Contact form

When you contact us via the form, the data you provide (name, email address, message) is processed to handle your request. Processing takes place via the form function of our hosting provider Netlify. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures). The data is deleted once the request has been handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Newsletter

If you sign up for the newsletter, we use your email address to send information about Hospis. Sign-up uses double opt-in. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR), which can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email. [Delivery provider will be added once selected.]
